the working of the Holy Spirit it may remain in our hearts and
speak to us all the days of our lives.”
(Benedict XVI, Verbum Domini)

In The Living Word 3: Growing in Intimacy with God through the Scriptures we will explore how the Bible can help us dwell more deeply and constantly in God’s presence. For greater intimacy to develop we must allow ourselves to be soaked in the Scriptures so that we might begin to “put on the mind of Christ” (1 Cor. 2:16). Sessions draw upon the wealth of Church teaching as well as the wisdom of Christian saints and Jewish sages.

Sessions include:
- Jesus’ understanding of the Scriptures: •The Law •The Prophets
- Getting more from the Bible: •Bible Study •Prayer
- Christ in us: The Hope of Glory.

The weekend will include:
•Praise and Worship
•Ministry in the Power of the Holy Spirit
•Holy Mass
•Times of prayer and Adoration.
