“Indeed I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord” (Phil 3:8)

“I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you” (Jn 15:15)

God has called us to eternal communion and happiness with Him in Jesus Christ. And Jesus shows us the way – it is the way of friendship; Jesus himself is the Way to the Father. But in order to fulfil this great call, we must draw close to Jesus; we must come to know Him intimately and love him deeply. In CALLED TO GLORY III we will delve into the treasure of the Catholic Faith to explore who Jesus is and how we can draw closer to him, in order to fulfil our call to Glory.

Sessions include:
• “Who do you say I am?” – the fundamental truths about Jesus Christ
• The Beatitudes – a self-portrait of Jesus
• Jesus in our midst – the Real Presence in the Eucharist
• Growing in friendship with Jesus, our God, King & brother
• How friendship with Jesus changes our lives
• The Jesus Prayer & communion with God

We will also open ourselves to receive God’s life-giving Light through ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit, as well as have extended times of joyful praise – led by Salv Lomanto, his wife Noelle and team – Adoration and the Holy Eucharist. Although all the CALLED TO GLORY conferences form a greater whole together, CALLED TO GLORY III is also designed to stand alone.

Programme:

Saturday 10.00 am – 9.30 pm,

Sunday 10.00 am – 4.30 pm Mass included both days

Testimonies:
“Wonderful informative talks from Niklas… wonderful music from Salv. Fantastic prayerful adoration, and spot on ministry. I cannot thank you enough!”

“In the Fire & Light session... I was brought up Mount Tabor to experience the glory and presence of God. It was really uplifting as there was praise and worship to prepare myself to receive the Holy Spirit.”

Dennis Wrigley, writer, broadcaster and preacher, is also founder of the Maranatha Community which is deeply involved in a wide range of social issues including work in Parliament, the European Union and the United Nations. Lord David Alton, Catholic life peer, says of Dennis Wrigley: “During the forty years I have known him, Dennis Wrigley has been one of the most significant Christian leaders in Britain. The Maranatha Community, which he founded and leads, has been an inspirational movement of Christians drawn from many backgrounds but sharing a common belief in the power of prayer and the importance of public engagement. Throughout the eighties and nineties Dennis worked tirelessly in Northern Ireland to promote reconciliation and healing. In Britain his timely trumpet calls have shone a light on the dark places in our lives and in society. Dennis passionately believes in the power of the Holy Spirit and both he and Maranatha unashamedly draw their inspiration and strength from the Holy Spirit.”
